Ingredients
2 large eggs
1 Tablespoon chopped cilantro
1 teaspoon chopped jalapeno OPTIONAL
1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder
1/8 teaspoon cayenne powder OPTIONAL
1 tablespoon milk
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 tablespoon finely chopped onion
2 tablespoon finely chopped tomatoes
1 teaspoon butter
Instructions
In a mixing bowl, mix all the ingredients and beat the mixture using a whisk.
Melt butter in a non-stick pan and spread the butter throughout the pan. This should be done over medium heat.
Pour the egg mixture and spread evenly, cook on medium-low heat for 4-5 minutes. When you think that the base is firm enough to flip, then using a spatula, gently pick up the omelet and quickly flip to cook the other side. If the omelette is not holding itself when you lift it, it needs to cook more.
Cook for a couple of minutes on the other side and serve.
